50 BEDS DENGUE WARD KEPT RESERVED FOR DENGUE PATIENTS AT SHRI MAHANT INDIRESH HOSPITAL

SHRI MAHENT INDIRESH HOSPITAL COMES ON ALERT MODE
Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has come on alert mode for the prevention of Dengue. Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has kept reserved a 50 bedded Dengue Ward exclusively for Dengue patients. Keeping in consideration the increase in number of Dengue patients, bed capacity of the ward will also be increased as and when required. All the necessary preparations have been made in this regard. Physician Dr. Jaskaran Bazad of Deptt. of Medicine has been appointed as Dengue Nodal Officer of the hospital. Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has instructed its Emergency and Blood Bank on alert mode regarding Dengue outbreak. These information were provided by Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr. Ajay Pandita.
On Friday, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hopsital’s Medical Superintendent Dr. Ajay Pandita and Medical Superintendent Dr. Gaurav Raturi took a meeting of hospital’s senior officials, nursing incharges, nursing staff, blood bank and emergency staff. They instructed all the deptts. to work team oriented with better coordination and harmony.
Dr. Ajay Pandita informed that at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, the facilities of treatment and ultra modern Dengue test are available. He said that currently 9 Dengue Positive patients are being treated at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital.
Dr. Gaurav Raturi informed that last year, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital played a significant role in Uttarakhand state in treating maximum number of Dengue patients. He said that hospital’s Blood Bank played a key role in completing all possible demand of platelets. He said that last year, the Emergency staff contributed in a remarkable manner in treating Dengue Emergency patients.
Director, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dr. Manoj Gupta informed that Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital is determined tp provide best possible treatment to Dengue patients. He advised the general public to be aware of confusion and rumours regarding Dengue. He said that appropriate treatment of Dengue is available at the hospital. He advised all to take medical consultation who have symptoms of high fever, acute headache, body pain, pain in back side of eyes, appearing of red spots in the body.
