The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has been an integral part of this institute since its inception. The Department is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for women's reproductive health. Led by Dr. Vineeta Gupta, our team of highly qualified and experienced obstetricians and gynaecologists is committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. Being a tertiary care and referral centre it is one of the most active departments in the Institute. It is well-equipped with state of art facilities and an outstanding team of doctors to provide comprehensive high quality care to women of all ages. There are 24x7 emergency and delivery facilities under the supervision of highly experienced, dedicated team of doctors, and nurses providing safe, supportive and comfortable care during labour and delivery. There are round the clock functioning operation theatres making the department one of the best in the health care delivery for women in the region.The department also offers a full range of Gynaecological services, including routine checkups, cancer screenings and treatment of Gynaecological disorders. The department runs Specialty clinics like High risk pregnancies, Family welfare, Cancer and Menopause to provide comprehensive care to women from adolescent to Menopause.

It also provides comprehensive infertility evaluation and treatment for couples struggling with fertility issues through the state of art IVF centre. The department has grown over the year keeping in pace with the ever-increasing advancement in this field. It state of art reproductive medicine unit and IVF (Test tube Baby) Centre since May 2019 for the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of infertile couples. The centre is well equipped with all the advanced facilities and an expert team of clinicians, embryologists, laboratory and OT technicians and nursing staff. The facility is unique as it provides all services under one roof from the treatment of female and male infertility, and antenatal management of pregnant ladies upto delivery and neonatal care.
